  • Examination of existing policies and procedures
  • Review of claims experience (work and/or non-work related)
  • Interviews with key employees and supervisors
  • Interviews with employees who have been through the injury/illness process
  • Completion of a report outlining strengths of program and areas needing improvement

Step 2 Program Development
  • Customized and formalized program development and/or enhancement
  • Development of prevention strategies
  • Development of injury management (pre-claim) strategies
  • Development of post injury management (post-claim) strategies

Step 3 Program Implementation & Training
  • Training of management and key personnel
  • Physician education and training as necessary
  • Creation of train-the-trainer programs
  • Development of comprehensive communication strategies

Step 4 Program Evaluation
  • Identification of trends and appropriate program adjustments
  • Development and evaluation of agreed upon metrics
  • Additional program follow-up and assessment as necessary
